‼ IMPORTANT WHEN TRAVELING TO THE UAE:
- A COVID-19 test must be performed before flying to the UAE. Without a certificate with a negative Covid-19 test result, the tourist will not be boarded. The test must be carried out in a laboratory approved by the competent authority of the UAE or by a laboratory recognized by the country of departure. The statement must not be older than 96 hours. The test is valid for 96 hours from the moment it is performed. The statement must be in English or Arabic, in printed form. (phones are not accepted). Children under 12 years of age are exempt from the test.
Laboratories where COVID-19 test can be performed in Latvia:
- "Riga Eastern Clinical University Hospital"
- “E.Gulbja Laboratory”;
- “Central Laboratory”.
- Tourists arriving in Dubai with a negative COVID-19 test result (in Arabic or English) do not need to be quarantined for 14 days.
- A Covid-19 health insurance policy must be presented before departure to Dubai and upon arrival in Dubai. The policy must be in English or Arabic, in printed form.
- A medical examination may be performed at Dubai Airport and a repeat COVID-19 test may be required. If a tourist performs a PCR test, the tourist must isolate himself in the hotel room until the test results are available (12-48 hours).
rriving at Dubai Airport:
- The COVID-19 DXB Smart App must be downloaded and registered
- A health declaration form must be completed and submitted to staff at the time of registration complete a quarantine commitment form to be issued on board. It must be returned to the airport staff upon arrival in Dubai.

!!!IMPORTANT TO RETURN TO LATVIA:
- When returning to Latvia, you must fill in the Covidpass.lv immigrant confirmation form. The certificate must be completed not earlier than 48 hours before crossing the border of the Republic of Latvia.
When returning from the trip, self-isolation must be observed for 10 days.
